Enter a search command using Common Command Language (CCL). You can combine search terms to build complex searches.
Example: Find the works of author Asimov published in 1970.
- Type AU=asimov AND PD=1970 in the Boolean box.
- Click GO.
Example: Find the works of the author Asimov with titles that include the words "Amazing Stories" and are on DVD.
- Type AU=asimov AND (TI=amazing stories AND TOM=dvd) in the Boolean box.
- Click GO.
You can also select search databases and set search options for Boolean searches. For more information about Boolean searching, click Help on the menu bar.
